With all the buzz around about director Zach Snyder's upcoming Superman reboot Superman: Man of Steel, the question that has everyone hopping is who should be the villain? Can we expect another Lex Luthor plot, or maybe something more ambitious? If they could pull of another villain, and NOT General Zod, say Metallo, Parasite or whoever I would like that. But the question again is who? I'd like to hear everyone else's ideas and opinions. Please speak your minds.
Now that the villain has been revealed to be General Zod, I still want Lex Luthor in it. I wan't a John Corben reference. And I really want a Superman/Zod super powered showdown!
ReplyDeleteBut do you want comic book Luthor or a more modernized Gene Hackman Luthor? Yes I would love to see a Superman/Zod showdown too! Maybe a Brainiac plot? What are your thoughts?
ReplyDeleteComic book Luthor. I would love a Brainiac sub-plot in the movie. Maybe be like Darkseid on this season of Smallville.
ReplyDeleteThat could work. But who, if they did have Brainiac as a subplot, would play Brainiac?
ReplyDeleteI would love James Marsters from Smallville to play him. BUT, since that won't happen, I wouldn't mind him JUST being a A.I. for this movie (voiced by Corey Burton, I believe he's the man from Superman: TAS)and then the sequel, we'll seen him in his "true form" I guess.
ReplyDeleteYeah having Marsters as Brainiac would be awesome. I checked and it was Corey Burton who was the voice on the Superman series, and both Justice League series, plus that series crossover between Static Shock and the Justice League. But we can only hope that we get Brainiac at all, even as an A.I.
ReplyDeleteYeah, agreed.
ReplyDeleteWhat would Brainiac even look like in the movie, if they decided to give him a physical body?
ReplyDeleteEither like Brainiac 13 or like the Culuian version from Geoff Johns Superman: Brainiac. Or maybe they'd just re-design him completely!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, in case you are interested, I am a part of a podcast called Across The Airwaves, which reviews TV shows (like Smallville, Supernatural, Chuck, Fringe, Bones, and Castle, along with a few others now and then. i.e. Young Justice, Human Target, V) during the school year, and movies in the summer (we've done Iron Man 2 and Toy Story 3, this summer however, will be VERY fun). On May 20th (the week AFTER Smallville's Finale) we are having a live show dedicated to Smallville and Clark's journey (more info: http://acrosstheairwaves.com/supermanliveshow). If you want to join us, there is a chat, so people can talk about it DURING our live broadcast. Just in case you're interested.
Yeah that sounds great. Do you guys need additional reviewers too? I'd be happy to help. I cannot wait for the last episodes, because I have a feeling they will be spectacular. I'm looking forward to next week's episode with Booster Gold and Blue Beetle. And the nice thing is, they say we are getting not just Jaime, but Ted as well. By the way do you guys do The Big Bang Theory reviews as well?
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll be on with regular host Dan and we actually have another guest host on with us that night, but if you could spread the word, that'd be great. I cannot wait for these episodes either. Booster will be fabulous! The one (besides Finale) that I'm most excited for though, is Dominion aka return of General Zod. Also, I'm glad Toyman will be back for Prophecy. That will be good. We do not currently do TBBT reviews, BUT we all do watch it (I'm still stuck on season 2 unfortunately). If Chuck is cancelled, we might review it next year.
ReplyDeleteOk then. Hey do you think Leonard and Penny will be getting back together next season, cause I think it's pretty obvious that no one actually likes Priya.
ReplyDeleteI honestly have no clue, because I have NOT seen seasons 3 or 4 yet. I just finished season 2 on DVD. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteWell season 3 you can get on either DVD or Blu-Ray, it comes with some nice bonus features including a set tour with the guys who play Howard and Raj.
ReplyDeleteCool, I can't wait!
ReplyDeleteWhats one of your favorite episodes from season 2 so far?
ReplyDeleteProbably the one where Lenard "takes" Howards girlfriend. The one where Sheldon say "Lenard has gone to, the office!" I CRACKED UP!
ReplyDeleteYES! That is a very funny one. That and the one where the guys get the Time Machine prop from the classic movie. Howards line "Look at what you've created its like Nerdvanna" always has me on the floor.
ReplyDelete"Oh no! Flesh eating Morlocks! Eat him! Eat him!" LOL!
ReplyDelete"Ahh! Leonard!" Hahah so good!
